A while back, we helped Astro Radio launch the all-new SYOK app! Along with 60 new online radio stations, the new and improved radio app showcases a number of fresh and exciting features that delivers an engaging and immersive experience for users — including dark mode, an alarm feature that enables users to stay alerted of new content, live video channels that allow users to interact with one another via chat, enhanced podcast search filters, and more.

From the initial discussion with the SYOK team, there were 15 enhancement requirements in total, including Zon Solat improvements, dark mode, sleep timer, AdsWizz integration, podcast downloads, reorganization of podcast downloads, display of splinter stations, live chat, live chat interactions, podcast comments, improvements to radio categorization, and a Continue Listening feature.

The end result? SYOK-ingly good. Apart from having fixed a number of pre-existing issues, the enhancements were in line with our initial vision, perfectly as planned. We’re happy to be able to say that the final outcome was delightful to both our team and the Astro Radio team.
